Australia has a diverse range of environments, and some of the oldest natural landscapes in the world. Apart from its natural wonders, such as Uluru and the Great Barrier Reef, Australia is also home to man-made cultural icons such as the Sydney Harbour bridge and the Sydney Opera House. With a diverse community thanks to immigration, there is a wide range of tourist activities for the visitor.
Australia's landscape is one of contrast: as the driest, largest, continent on earth, much of indland Australia (sometimes reffered to as the "outback") is desert and scrubland. However on the coastal fringes lies an abudence of temprate zones, from the tropical rainforrests of Queensland, right down to the cold rainforrests of chilly Tasmania. Truly Australia is a land of diverse landscapes, and provided you are willing to travel the sometimes vast distances, you will find that Australia offers just about every possible landscape you could want to see.
